Polypropylene (PP) is a polyolefin material with high hardness, rigidity and very good chemical resistance.

These parameters make the material find many applications in the industry for the following machine building elements:

• exhaust pipes for low-temperature gases
• in the chemical industry for chemical tanks

• pipeline systems.

Polypropylene can be reinforced with e.g. glass fibre, which gives it greater rigidity and abrasion resistance.
