Archimedes-Folder-Plastics-2024-ENG.pdfPolyethylene (PE) is a polyolefin material with very good sliding properties, very high abrasion resistance and high chemical resistance. Thanks to such properties, it can be used for making:
- transmission elements
- guides for rollers, chains, bottles, belts, etc.
- gear and sprockets
- bearings, pump parts
- sealants
- elements of conveyors and mechanical structures
The material can be divided into three basic types PE300 (PE-HD), PE500 (PE-HMW) and PE1000 (PE-UHMW). Also available in blue ~ RAL 5017.
For more demanding applications PE1000 is used with additives of solid lubricants or oil to improve sliding properties and wear resistance. The use of modified material is intended to increase the service life of the workpiece and reduce machine downtime.
The materials are available in the form of plates, rods, tubes, profiles and finished products as shown. As a company with almost 20 years of experience, we know what counts in a thriving company. Above all, it is quality that is not worth saving on – we use the highest quality materials with high strength indicators.
