The basic applications include:

- sliding bearings
- valve’s seats
- latches
- precision structural elements
- electro-insulating elements in electrical engineering.
Polyacetal can be modified with additives such as glass fibre, conductive carbon black, antistatic additives or PTFE. This gives a wide range of possibilities for use in mechanical engineering.
The plastics are available in the form of plates, rods, tubes, profiles and finished products according to drawings.
