Flat drive belts are used both in multi-axial, cross and tangential drive systems and as transport belts. Due to their design, they have the ability to carry the drive on one or two sides of the belt. Linings of belts can be made of rubber, polyurethane, polyester fabric, leather or polyamide film. Our offer includes flat drive belts of Ammeraal Beltech, Esbelt and Megadyne manufacturers.

Depending on the intended use, there are different linings on both sides of the belt. Reinforcement string in flat belts is usually polyamide film or fabric or polyester or aramid fabric. The way the flat belt is connected  depends on the type of used string,  – overlapping or on the so-called “teeth”. (Quick Splace).

Due to the variety of types, flat belts are used in many industries, including:

  • for the drive of sawmills and other cutting equipment in the wood industry – for power transmission in power plants
  • in roller conveyor drives
  • for rolling up cardboard tubes and folding cartons in specialized cardboard processing equipment
  • in transport and palletizing equipment and in the printing industry – in RTV and household appliances transfer systems.
