- +

Mercotac rotary joints are used to transfer electrical signals to rotating parts of machines. Power, measurement and high frequency signals can be transferred. All Mercotac culverts can operate with voltages up to 250 V, selected up to 500 V. They are significantly smaller, more durable than conventional rotary brush systems and provide significantly less signal noises.

Basic parameters:

  • number of joints: 1-8
  • max. speed up to 7500 rpm
  • max. current up to 250 A
  • very little electrical resistance

Advantages of Mercotac connectors:

  • Mercotac connectors produce almost zero electrical noise due to their unique design,
  • rotary contact resistance is less than one milliohm,
  • they do not deteriorate the signal over time, which is the case with slip rings,
  • Mercotac rotary connectors are maintenance-free (no maintenance required),
