Rubber belts for light industry are mostly made of such materials SBR and NBR.
Depending on the type, rubber belts are characterized by high elasticity, chemical resistance and mechanical strength. They can operate in the temperature range from -40 to +130C.
Depending on the needs they can have a number of additional features such as:
- antistaticity,
- ATEX certificate,
- food approvals.
They can also be equipped with several types of supporting structures (e.g. super gripp or mini gripp) which increase the friction coefficient between the product and the belt. Thanks to the above characteristics, rubber belts are used in devices where high coefficient of friction and greater resistance to abrasion of the belt surface is needed more than in the case of PVC belts.
