Flat drive belts are used both in multi-axial, cross and tangential drive systems and as transport belts. Due to their design, they have the ability to carry the drive on one or two sides of the belt. Linings of belts can be made of rubber, polyurethane, polyester fabric, leather or polyamide film. Depending on the intended use, there are different linings on both sides of the belt. Reinforcement string in flat belts is usually polyamide film or fabric or polyester or aramid fabric. The way the flat belt is connected  depends on the type of used string,  – overlapping or on the so-called “teeth”. (Quick Splace).
