PMI’s linear roller guides offer the highest rigidity and load capacity compared to other guides of the same size. Due to the linear contact between the rollers and the raceways, the roller guides provide less deformation under the same loads.
The load stiffness characteristics predispose the roller guides to be used in applications where very high loads and high impact resistance are common, e.g. in cranes, heavy machine tools and rolling mills. Thanks to the 45° angle of the rollers, the guide with roller rail can absorb identical forces in all directions.
