PMI’s screw mechanisms consist of a spindle and a nut with a circular thread. The nut contains balls that move in a closed circuit.

Ball screws and ball nuts are among the most commonly used screw mechanisms in industrial and precision CNC machines. They enable the change of rotary motion into progressive motion and vice versa. They are characterized by high precision and high efficiency coefficient. Precision ball screws are made of German steel alloy. They are subjected to careful heat treatment to ensure high precision and durability. Ball screws are characterized by the highest precision and the widest range of available variants.

The range includes the following series:

FSIC, FDIC,FOIC, RSIC, RDIC, FSDC, FDDC, FSWC, FDWC, FSVC, FDVC, FOWC, FSWE, FDWE, FSVE, FDVE, FSVH, FSDH.

Basic parameters of polished ball screws:

  • thread’s pitch: 1 – 50 mm
  • thread’s diameter: 6 – 100 mm
  • length: up to 8000 mm
  • accuracy class: C0 – C10
  • can be made with a left-side thread
  • single or double nut (with preload).
