Screw jacks are devices that convert the rotation of e.g. a motor into the linear motion of a screw.

They work on the principle of a worm gearbox, which drives the screw, causing it to change its position or the position of a nut “walking” linearly around it. The great variety of types and versions of these devices gives a wide range of possibilities to use them as alternatives to pneumatic or hydraulic systems. Thanks to their use, the system can be significantly simplified without compromising its technical parameters. Electric jacks can be installed individually or as assemblies of elements connected by shafts.

Available series: SJ, MA, HS.

Benefits of the jacks:

  • easy installation and control; high level of safety
  • energy consumption only during work
  • no need for complex and emergency pneumatic or hydraulic installations
  • possibility to operate at very high and low temperatures (no risk of freezing or fire)
  • accuracy in stopping position
  • keeping the position under load (self-braking)
  • reliability in compression- expansion movement
  • large number of accessories

Screw jacks usually have a setting or adjustment function. The range of available mechanical sizes, linear speeds, motor types used and additional accessories allows easy adaptation to different applications.
