Electric actuators are composed of a drive unit and a gearbox converting the rotary motion into a linear motion of the piston rod. The piston rod, permanently connected to a nut, performs a linear motion moving along the thread of a trapezoidal or ball screw.

The use of actuator with a ball screw allows for 100% cycle (continuous operation) and obtaining very high linear speeds. All devices can be driven by AC, DC, SERVO or stepper motors.

Series available:

  • ATL, BSA, CLA, CLB, UAL, UBA
  • ILA, LMR, LMI, LMP

The main benefits of the actuators are:

  • easy installation and control
  • high level of safety energy consumption only during operation
  • no need for complex and emergency pneumatic or hydraulic installations
  • possibility to operate at very high and low temperatures (no risk of freezing or fire)
  • accuracy at the stopping position
  • keeping the position under load (self-braking)
  • reliability in compression- expansion movement
  • large number of accessories

The very accurate position control function allows the use of actuators for tracker systems of photovoltaic panels (solar control and tracking systems).

Each actuator or jack is treated as an individual project.

The TMA series is also available – actuators used, among others, for solar trackers (sun tracking system):

  • linear speed: 0.12-40mm/sec.
  • maximum strength: 2,6 kN – 200 kN
  • screw type: trapezoidal
