MGM is the European leader in the production of three-phase asynchronous motors equipped with brakes.

MGM motors are used in all industries, especially where precision and speed during braking are required, e.g. in textile machinery, the ceramic industry and packaging equipment. MGM’s motors are fitted as standard with reinforced casings capable of transferring the tension during start-up and braking. The motors are manufactured in IP 54 protection class and F insulation class or in IP 55 / IP 56 protection class and  H insulation class. All MGM’s motors are designed for use with frequency inverters. They are available with double brake, manual brake for brake’s release or encoders.

MGM offers 2 basic motor series:

BA series – three-phase asynchronous motors with electromagnetic brake:

• AC brake coil supply,
• power 0.08 – 90 kW,
• mechanical sizes 71 to 315,
• 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-polar,
• one-, two-speed,
• flange and foot flange.

BM series – three-phase asynchronous motors with electromagnetic brake:

• DC brake coil supply,
• power 0,06 – 45 kW,
• mechanical sizes 56 to 225,
• 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-polar
• one-, two-speed,
• flange and foot flange.
