Archimedes offers brushless AC synchronous motors with permanent magnets mounted on the rotor.
We have servo motors from TECO, Minimotor, Siboni, Servomech with a nominal torque of up to 10Nm. Versions equipped with a brake are available, as well as drive units with a mechanical gearbox. The servo motors create drive system in cooperation with the control system in a feedback loop.
The basic features of servo motors are:
- high efficiency over a large load range
- possibility to achieve high angular rotor accelerations
- very good dynamic features
- rapid response of the control system resulting from a small moment of inertia
