Helical gearboxes are a group of drives in simple or offset axis. One, two, three or four pairs of gear wheels can work together in this type of gearbox. Helical gearboxes are fixed to the device with a foot or flange. A characteristic feature of these drives is their high efficiency of up to 95%. Watt Drive helical gearboxes are marked with an H symbol.
Gearboxes can be equipped with:
- flange connection for IEC or NEMA standard electric motors,
- flange connection for servomotors
- integrated compact motor
- input shaft with full keyway
The gearing range of helical gearboxes is from I=0,8 to I= 13500.
